Véronique Allègre-Concédieu

Véronique Allègre-Concédieu, Manageress of the Grand Hôtel Thalasso & Spa, is above all motivated by human contact. You are bound to come across her in the hotel!

A native of Le Gard, Véronique Allègre graduated in hotel management. After a first experience at the Royal Deauville, she took over the management of the "Relais & Châteaux" Castel Marie-Louise in La Baule at the age of 32: in 2007, she thus became the first female manager of a hotel establishment in the Barrière group. In 2011, she became Manageress of  the 5-star Hermitage Barrière, also in La Baule, before devoting herself to bringing up her son, Tom. At the end of 2014, Véronique Allègre joined the Grand Hôtel de Saint-Jean-de-Luz and prepared its re-opening. "After a wonderful experience in a large group, I was looking for a hotel on a human scale, to be closer to both the teams and clients," explains Véronique. Human contact is her main priority. Every morning, she does the rounds of the hotel and the teams, checks arrivals of new guests and welcomes them personally. "They are often surprised, but they appreciate it," she confides. "Here they should enjoy a unique, unforgettable experience, feel right at home (and even better), and want to return." Always with a ready ear, the hotel team works as one to provide personalized, high-quality service aiming for excellence.
